VERSION 2.0
~~~~~~~~~~~
The Version 2.0 of my panel is the converted and redesigned FSW95 version 1.0 and 1.1 of my A310 panel.
SOME WORDS ABOUT THIS PANEL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This panel is NOT made for a better readability. I made this panel as accurate as possible, so don't expect to can read every gauge perfect. Some readouts are very small!

If you use a smaller resolution then 1024x768 you have problems with some readouts!!! (But it works)

Due to the complexity of the panel with many gauges and bitmaps (5,02 MB!!!)it will takes some time for loading, this NOT a bug of the panel.

I made this panel by using a scanned picture. So the proportions of the instruments are like in the real A300-600/310.

I don't recommend this panel to beginners of the Flightsimulator.

FEATURES
~~~~~~~~
- 36(!!!) gauges
- 5 bitmaps (altogether 1,26 MB)
- improved night illumination (every gauge is lighted!)
- some special for this panel created gauges (by Hiroyuki Toyohara)
- working FMA (Flight Mode Annuntiator)
COSTS
~~~~~
NOTHING!
If you have too much money you should give to beneficient organizations.
But if you want to do something for me, then boycott payware/shareware/crippleware on the net, for a better Flightsim community with as less profit as possible :-) .

INSTALLATION:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Software Requirements:
-Microsoft Flightsimulator 98
I don't know if the converter is necessary.
No file will be overwritten by my files!
Copy all *.gau (guages.zip) to the ...\FS98\GAUGES directory.
Make a new directory in your ...\FS98\AIRCRAFT directory, for example PANELS\AJ-A310.
Then copy the *.bmp and the panel.cfg (panel.zip) to this new directory.
For using this panel you have to edit the panel.cfg of the aircraft you want to use with this panel. You can find this panel.cfg in the ...\FS98\AIRCRAFT\**FAVOURITE AIRCRAFT**\PANEL\ directory. Before editing make a backup copy of this file! Then open it with Notepad and change the lines to the following:
[fltsim]
alias=panels\AJ-A310
and than save it.
That's all :-)
Then load your aircraft with my panel and enjoy!
I hope it works, otherwise try a reinstallation. Or go to the Flightsimulator 98 homepage of Microsoft where you can read how to install a new panel in a other way.
Or read the installations of other panels. Others have discribed the installation in a better
way. (It is a little bit difficult for me in English)
You need a good Airbus A300-600/A310 ? I recommend the Airbus A310 by Capt. Jason Brown. You can find his aircrafts at Mike Marando's (www.simflight.com/mikem). This aircraft has the BEST flight characteristics (OK, I don't no the real one, but it flys very nice and stable) and looks also beautiful and very accurate.
SHORT EXPLANATION OF SOME INSTRUMENTS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A picture say more than words. Refer to the AJ.A310.Panel.Description.gif .

PROBLEMS:
~~~~~~~~~
Because this is a BETA version there could be some problems on your system, because it was only tested on my computer (MMX 166 with Matrox Mystique).
Beta tests of some friends also were without serious problems.
THANKS:
~~~~~~~

This is a good opportunity for me to say thank you to all the people who gives us such great sceneries, aircrafts, panels, utilities, ... as FREEWARE, in the past. This was the intention for me to give this panel to all also as freeware, so don't make money with it. . I think it is very poor to demand money for such work and make it cripple(share)ware, except you don't use any freeware addon in Flightsim... ;-)

Special Thanks go to:

* As always CHUCK DOME. Your freeware utilies GAU2BMP and GAUMOD98 are necessary for every panel designer. Without you we wouldn't have that many freeware panels.
THANKS CHUCK!!!

* To my friends of the Freeware Panel Designer Assotiation (FPDA):

Thanks Toyo (Hiroyuki Toyohara) for educate me in C++ gauge designing and the use of your flaps lever! Thanks to made me the ILS gauge, that improves every ILS approach, because you made it like the real :-) . Also for the GMT clock. And for our great friendship! Doumo arigatougozaimasu!

Thanks Kosta (Konstantin Prokopiu) for also explaining me the mysteries of C++ and of founding FPDA and sharing all the knowledge about panel designing. Vielen Dank!
